Easy to use Bitly Alternative Good URL Shortening Service

It's been a while since I last had a chance to sit in front of a computer and surf the web. After a few minutes of browsing I was in need or a quick url shortener to compress a link from one of my affiliate accounts. As many of you already know bitly is one of the premier url shorteners on the web today. I don't know if it was my luck or simply a bad time of the day but when I tried to visit their site it was down for maintenance. After a quick google search for "bitly alternative" I came across Utoo.me ( http://www.utoo.me ) a great fun and easy to use url shortening service.

The first thing that grabbed my attention was utoo.me bright blue colored theme. For me it's quiet nice and I much rather the blue vs the orange bitly has to offer. Besides this was their easy and straight forward to understand stats page, which displays country, device and referring website which was used to send people to your shortened url.

 I'm still need to test out their statistics and to see if they are accurate but the service does what's intended to do which is make urls and links short!
